As you can imagine with the Festive period fast approaching, Chiltern Hills Brass Band (CHB) are looking forward to performing at a number of Christmas Carol services. But we are really excited about bringing you……..

           "THE SNOWMAN"

The CHB Band are delighted to bring this special screening of The Snowman, by iconic illustrator and cartoonist Raymond Briggs. Come and watch this Christmas classic with The CHB Band playing live alongside the film to bring the iconic score to life, offering an immersive experience for children and adults of all ages. In keeping with the book, the film is wordless and free of dialogue, except for the iconic Walking In The Air which will be performed by the granddaughter of the Bands Director of Music and Band Manager; Gordon and Lindsey Davies.

The Snowman has become an integral part of Christmas for children and adults alike since the picture book was first published in 1978, with the animated version first broadcast on Channel 4 in 1982.

This timeless classic is suitable for all ages, and the performance will also include a short concert of family favourite Christmas songs and music from The CHB Band.

It all takes place at Radnage Village Hall(HP14 4DJ), Sunday 21st December 3pm.
